Biography
Consultant Orthodontist
Dr Evelyn Lee is a Consultant Orthodontist based in Subang Jaya branch, located in Mediplex Subang Jaya Medical Centre. She graduated as a dental surgeon from the National University of Malaysia at the top of her class. Dr Evelyn excelled academically during her undergraduate training and received multiple merit awards including the University Book Prize Award. After graduation, she served the Ministry of Health and subsequently continued her postgraduate training in the Eastman Dental Hospital, University College of London in the United Kingdom.
She specialised in Orthodontics and was conferred the Masters in Science in Orthodontics in 2009 followed by the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons England (MOrth) in 2010. During her training in the Eastman Dental Hospital, she had received several awards for her research in the “Psychosocial Effects of Inferior Dental Nerve Damage in Post-Orthognathic Patients” and published several articles in international peer reviewed journals.
Dr Evelyn had a special interest in the management of cleft lip and craniofacial deformities which led her to pursue a fellowship in cleft and craniofacial orthodontics in the University of Melbourne and Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Australia. She was also appointed as a Clinical Lecturer in the Orthodontics Department in the University of Melbourne. With many years of experience, Dr Evelyn is proficient in managing both simple and complex malocclusions including multi-disciplinary treatment. She strives to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment with the highest level of care for her patients.
