Dentures are divided into partial dentures and full dentures. When a patient has some remaining natural teeth in their mouth to support the denture, it’s called a partial denture. If all the natural teeth are missing, a full denture is required.
Partial dentures are removable dental prosthetics designed for patients with some natural teeth remaining. They can be easily put on and taken off. Partial dentures are typically made with a metal or resin framework (elastic base) while artificial teeth are made from resin.

活动假牙分为局部活动假牙与全⼜假牙，当患者⼜内还有牙齿可以⽀撑，称为局部活动假牙; ⽽全⼜无牙制作假牙，称为全⼜假牙。
活动假牙是可以轻松戴上以及卸下的假牙托，全⼜假牙的制作材料⼀般使⽤树脂作为⽀架; ⽽局部活动假牙的⽀架使⽤不锈钢⾦属或树脂制造(弹性软床)，假牙的牙齿部分则多由树脂材料制成。
